Neil is joint head of trading at Hobart. He joined the business in December 2005 as a sales trader before being appointed as Head of Trading in 2008. He works closely with Darryll Warnford-Davis the director of institutional sales as well as being involved with the development of our worldwide automated execution services. Neil also looks after institutions, hedge funds and ultra high net worth clients.
Neil began his career in 1996 at Deutsche Bank working in a trainee scheme throughout the bank. He later worked in back/middle office roles before joining the sales team at Townsley & Co in 1999.
Michael joined the business in Jan 2006 and became the Head of Fixed Income Sales in November 2008. He has been successful in increasing his business flows whilst at Hobart’s and has been actively working on increasing the team and the business’ market share.
Michael began his career at Wedd, Durlacher Mordaunt, a stockjobber and specialized in Gilts trading. Wedd was taken over by Barclays Bank (together with stockbrokers deZoete and Bevan) in 1986 to form BZW. At BZW, operating from the Far East, he covered all the U.K and European bond markets.
